Now\u00a0more than ever, as most of the world enters a lockdown\u00a0of unknown length,<\/strong> it is\u00a0clear\u00a0that these sectors need to\u00a0figure out how to get ahead of the\u00a0curve and\u00a0remain\u00a0ahead of the curve.\u00a0 This will require\u00a0agile\u00a0business processes,\u00a0supported by\u00a0superior security\u00a0and need\u00a0the necessary digital support to\u00a0optimize production processes\u00a0for now and\u00a0going forward.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

With our customer\u00a0requirements\u00a0in mind, we recently\u00a0announced the latest enhancements to our ERP offering<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here are 5 benefits that our customers can embrace today that should benefit any organization adopting them:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

1 – Enhanced Traceability<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For any manufacturing organization that operate in a highly regulated environment, they are required to be able to recall a product on short notice. As a result, Product Recall has been expanded to allow any traceable parent item (Lot or Serial)<\/a><\/strong> that has been receipted into stock by any stock transfer process, to be fully identified, and consequently, fully traceable. In addition, regulation requires regular testing of the traceability system<\/strong><\/a>, and it provides the ability to regularly test the system through Mock Recalls. This capability was specifically developed to support the regulatory requirements, and further benefits of this capability include the accelerated time to complete product recalls, improved governance through better traceability and system testing, as well as improved regulatory reporting.<\/p>\n

2 – Enhanced Administration and Language Customization through SYSPRO MOM<\/strong><\/h2>\n

SYSPRO MOM<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0further\u00a0extends and enriches\u00a0the SYSPRO\u00a0ERP\u00a0experience\u00a0by\u00a0improved functionality in\u00a0the planning and production processes\u00a0by leveraging digitization of the shop floor.\u00a0 This will\u00a0help\u00a0to easily and\u00a0quickly\u00a0improve the flow of data which will improve material flow, measure performance\u00a0and highlight bottlenecks, connect machines and\u00a0identify areas to\u00a0increase output and margins, while eliminating waste.<\/p>\n

The latest version also has additional customizable features. For example,\u00a0improved transaction rights have been added allowing the rights of the user to be\u00a0controlled\u00a0by the administrator.\u00a0 Only approved users will be able to undertake shop floor transactions, while unauthorized users will only be able to view transactions,\u00a0improving control and governance.\u00a0\u00a0There is also\u00a0extended language capabilities,\u00a0and\u00a0SYSPRO MOM\u00a0now supports French, German, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish.<\/p>\n

3 – Improved System Management in SYSPRO Point of Sale (<\/strong>PoS<\/strong>)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

SYSPRO Point of Sale (PoS)<\/strong><\/a> enables manufacturers\u00a0with a distribution operation,\u00a0as well as core distributors,\u00a0to automate their sales processes and transactions, including payments and inventory allocation. The new release has focused on improving the management of the system, specifically in areas of security and governance. Password expiry and password strength validation has been enhanced\u00a0to the same strength as SYSPRO core.\u00a0 The\u00a0management of deposits\u00a0has been improved to include\u00a0an audit trail. The addition of online and offline receipt number allocation prevents\u00a0duplication,\u00a0which has been an issue in the past.\u00a0 Administrators now have greater control over various aspects of Supply Chain Transfer functionality, preventing the risk of system manipulation and fraud.<\/p>\n

4 – Management of Digital tax<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As more countries transition towards electronic tax submissions, SYSPRO will\u00a0expand its ability to\u00a0support\u00a0digital tax and digital tax\u00a0returns, and\u00a0has already developed\u00a0the\u00a0<\/em>9-box return for the United Kingdom (UK).\u00a0This\u00a0added ability to manage tax data electronically\u00a0allows for the extraction of\u00a0the\u00a0tax data electronically, the separation of the data\u00a0and customized templates\u00a0for improved electronic tax submissions. Additionally, there will be\u00a0the ability to separate and combine related tax data in the General Ledger as well as\u00a0enhanced tracking and monitoring of tax receipts\u00a0and submissions.<\/p>\n

5 – Increased security measures embedded within the architecture<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In today\u2019s highly regulated world, most companies operate in an environment where they must comply with\u00a0multiple data\u00a0privacy regulations, and\u00a0government\u00a0Acts. With\u00a0the increase of organizations deploying their IT\u00a0to the cloud, there has been a surge of concerns around\u00a0data\u00a0security and the levels of encryption required. To\u00a0meet this concern, SYSPRO\u00a0has\u00a0now\u00a0added\u00a0SQL\u00a0Data\u00a0Encryption in Motion.\u00a0SQL\u00a0Data Encryption in Motion ensures that hackers\u00a0cannot access information being\u00a0transmitted.\u00a0\u00a0SYSPRO has already released SQL Data Encryption at rest, which prevents access to the databases by hackers.\u00a0 SYSPRO has therefore encryption capability on data \u201cat rest\u201d and \u201cin motion\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0This is\u00a0critical\u00a0for private and sensitive information, but\u00a0protects\u00a0all information sent between SYSPRO Servers\u00a0and Users.<\/p>\n

Avanti, SYSPRO\u2019s web interface<\/strong><\/a> has been updated to support multi-factor authentication, as is currently available on SYSPRO core.<\/p>\n
